Floyd D. Jobson is a Certified Master Dog Trainer and Animal Science Technician who has been breeding and training German Shepherd Dogs for 28 years. After a successful career in dog showing, Floyd became interested in training dogs for all levels of service.

In the 1980's, Floyd began training for others and since then has produced well-trained dogs for all levels of obedience, including police service dogs, search and rescue dogs, and support dogs for the handicapped. His love and respect for all dogs is always apparent during training, whether it be privately or in group lessons.

Floyd's experience includes lecturing at colleges, demonstrations for television and fairs, writing articles for newspapers, as well as giving seminars and ongoing classes in dog obedience. Floyd owns and operates a highly recommended boarding and grooming kennel as well as a very active training centre. Recently he became a Conformation Judge for the Canadian Kennel Club. Currently he is writing a book on his methods of dog training.

In order that all dogs be evaluated and trained properly, Floyd believes that all dog trainers should be formally educated and that this education be recognized by a governing body. To attain this goal, Floyd has opened the first government recognized school of dog trainers in British Columbia.

Floyd and Marion Jobson look forward to working with people interested in the rewarding and enjoyable career of dog training. They invite you to be on the leading edge of canine trainers in Canada.
